I work as the Pathfinder team's Engagement Officer. One of most challenging but also rewarding parts of my role is the diversity of tasks involved. I am responsible for ensuring that lived experience of mental health challenges remains at the core of what we do. This involves training, inducting and managing a team of volunteers Peer Mentors and Community Champions to support clients and contribute to our community groups. I also line manage staff with their own lived experience and support them to thrive within their roles. Outside of peers, I oversee our service's co-production strategy, which involves running a governance network to ensure current and previous clients strongly influence our work. I also contribute to wider Sussex co-production work alongside other organisations. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my energetic golden retriever and performing in theatrical productions.
