With a background of healthcare service management, I joined BHT Sussex as a Deputy Manager for the Emotional Wellbeing Service in 2022. The service has since developed from a small team in Crawley to a fully established service, with Mental Health Support Coordinators delivering mental health support to patients in 21 GP surgeries across Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead and Crawley. I am passionate about the invaluable support that the Emotional Wellbeing Service provides for people who are struggling with their mental health, playing a key part in the Adult Community Mental Health Transformation, as part of the NHS Long Term Plan. As a service, we work in partnership with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust, Pathfinder Service and Primary Care Networks.
