Hi everyone, I have previously worked in local government in strategic and operational leadership roles delivering collaborative successful people management solutions aligned to strategic objectives. I was Head of Human Resources, Organisational Development and Health & Safety during the commended HR service and audit commission inspection for Hackney Homes Ltd, releasing £225m Decent Homes programme funding for the London Borough of Hackney.

I now have the pleasure of working at BHT Sussex since 2015. Our fantastic staff, people first and values driven culture means there are huge opportunities to grow, partner and work collaboratively with great teams and individuals across the organisation and externally. Working with people within a psychological informed working environment who make a real difference to people’s lives and inspire change across Sussex, is a great motivator for me personally.

We have been transforming our services for clients, tenants and staff across Sussex and our exciting new 2024 strategic plan and Investors in People Gold status is testimony to our vision, ambition, and the quality and engagement of the great people working here to deliver excellence.

In my spare time I am a qualified volunteer football Manager/Coach for the Withdean Youth U12 team in Brighton. I am also a qualified ACC coach and an ambassador for the Brighton Chamber of Commerce. My passions are family, I am married to a teacher, one boy who loves playing plays football and maths and one lovely Labrador named Willow (pictured) who likes two walks a day. Any other spare time I love sport (football, rugby, Tipperary hurling), cycling, walking and running the South Downs, South West Coast Path or Sussex seafront, reading, music (from blues rock to folk) and promoting psychological wellbeing awareness in work and with our organisational partners.
