I have worked as the Building and Maintenance Surveyor for BHTS for about 7 years. My role is a challenging role and involves managing the repairs service and a small team of staff including the  Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Operatives. It requires working closely with the Housing Services Team, staff, clients and contractors across the organisation. 

I also provide and manage the Cyclical and Major Works Programmes, which involves larger maintenance projects such as kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, external refurbishments, window and roof replacements, internal redecorating projects, electrical and asbestos testing (to name a few). My role requires coordinating project work with tenants, managers, contractors, planning and budgeting.
